Millions of people rely on disability benefits – so it is alarming to hear that the government is cutting them.

These benefits are already far from generous. They were cut to the bone during the austerity years.

For most who receive them, every penny goes on essential living expenses.

It is wrong to try to balance the books by taking from the people who are least able to pay.

We oppose all cuts to disability benefits, as well as further restrictions on eligibility criteria.
